Power & Charging Tips

Bring a universal adapter

If you're traveling from outside Europe, bring a Type C or F adapter.

Check your device voltage

Most modern electronics (laptops, phones) support 110-240V. Check your device label.

USB charging is common

Hotels, cafes and public transport often have USB charging ports.

Bring a power bank

Useful for long trips and outdoor activities in Kazakhstan's vast landscapes.

Voltage converter for old devices

If you have older devices that only support 110V, you'll need a voltage converter.

Multi-socket extension cord

Helpful if you're traveling with multiple devices and want to charge them all at once.

Where to Buy Adapters

Electronics stores

Sulpak, Technodom and other electronics stores sell adapters.

Supermarkets

Large supermarkets like Magnum and Galmart also stock adapters.

Airports

Airport shops sell adapters, though they may be more expensive.
